The NorthFront Entrepreneur Alliance hosts excellent events every other month. The purpose is to bring entrepreneurs in Northern Utah together to learn, network, share ideas, find needed resources, and to recognize accomplishments among the group.

APRIL 2012 - Topic: Rick Alden, founder and Chairman of Skullcandy, shared his advice on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Q&A followed. SEE VIDEO
FEBRUARY 2012 - Topic: Entrepreneurship can be very emotional and building a successful team is one of the crucial and most challenging parts of building a successful startup. Nicole Toomey Davis, a serial entrepreneur, spoke candidly about the personal challenges of running a startup and provided nine Key Steps to fully understand your founding team and ways to strengthen the team to maximize your chances of success.
DECEMBER 2011 - Topic: This was the third annual Northfront "Entrepreneur Excellence" Awards Banquet. This premier event recognized outstanding entrepreneurs from the Northern Wasatch Front area. Entrepreneurs also shared key advice they have learned along their way.
OCTOBER 2011 - Topic: All About Funding! Six experts taught about SBA Loans, County/City Loans, Angel Capital, Debt Financing, Family Loans, Small Business Loans and more. The presentations ran the gamut on funding and which is best for each stage of entrepreneurism.
AUGUST 2011 - Topic: How to Build Customer Inventory Through Customer Service. Steve Cloward gave an excellent presentation on customer service and retention. An expert panel, including Bob Harmon (Harmons Grocers) and Alan Martin (Campus Book Rentals) also weighed in with great advice. JUNE 2011 - Topic: Entrepreneur Crowdpitch Event presented by Lendio and hosted by the Northfront Alliance. Networking & lunch was followed by "pitches" from emerging companies to the audience and a panel of experts. MAY 2011 - Topic: Are Patents Worth the Trouble? IP expert Bryan Massey (Kunzler IP) taught all about the patent process and whether or not getting a patent is worth the trouble.
